This year we are sponsors of Social Media Marketing World that is held in San Diego, California. An international digital and social media marketing event and the perfect place to learn the new trends, what is yet to come and meet people from the industry.
As a cutting-edge tool of analytics, planning and online campaigns management, Metricool couldn’t miss the event and not be present this year. And because we love sharing, we want to give you reasons for why you should come to San Diego too.
If you finally decide to go, we’ll see you there!
The Social Media Marketing World speakers under review 😉
Measuring is our obsession and this is why we use the feature that makes us unique: The Social Media Competitor Analysis.
We’ve analyzed all of the 80 speakers of SMMW and the ones who made it to our top Instagram influencers ranking.
A fun way to show you one of the main reasons for which you should be at SMMW.
This ranking is sorted by the average number of likes received on their Instagram posts published on December, 2019.
In the following chart you can check the number of likes received by their publications and also other relevant information such as followers, number of posts, comments and engagement rate.
The ranking has been made with the Social Media Competitor anlaysis feature from Metricool. Sorting the ranking using as main metric the average of likes per post.
This metric has been selected because it measures the result of likes per post and is an accurate metric to measure the performance of an Instagram account, even more than the number of followers.
From Metricool you can sort the table by any metric but the average number of likes per post is a very interesting metric to organize a list of influencers like the SMMW speaker list.

💖💛MY TOP 5 PRODUCTIVITY TIPS: 1️⃣ 👉🏽 DO ONE THING AT A TIME ☝1️⃣ Don’t answer emails while you’re writing that blog post. Don’t check Instagram when you’re planning your content strategy. 🚫🚫📱📧 When you’re doing anything in your biz, you should aim to be hyper focused. Distractions will not only make it 10 times longer to finish, but the quality of work will go down. • 2️⃣👉🏽 SET A TIMER FOR SINGLE TASKS ⏳⏲ Make it a goal to stay hyper focused for a 20-30 minutes at a time to complete a task. This means staying on task 100% (not checking social or email). Put your phone in airplane mode and hang up a “do not disturb” sign to avoid distractions. Then stay on task 100% until that task is completed. • 3️⃣👉🏽BREAK THE BIG-TO DO’S INTO SMALL ACTION STEPS 📃✅ When you have major projects on your to-do lists that are single line items, like “start a podcast” or “create an online course”, it can make your list feel completely overwhelming. Break them down into smaller to-do’s that feel more manageable! A productivity tool like Asana can really help stay on top of your to do’s! • 4️⃣👉🏽DETERMINE YOUR MOST PRODUCTIVE TIMES AND SCHEDULE CREATIVE WORK DURING THIS TIME 👩🎨🎨 Creative tasks like writing blog posts or Instagram content uses way more mental energy than checking email or Instagram. Block this time out when you are most creative and have the most mental energy. Some people are night owls, others are early birds, so it varies from person to person. And if you have a day job and can’t do creative work during your productive hours, aim for distraction-free time such as early in the morning or in the evening. • 5️⃣👉🏽REVIEW AND ORGANIZE YOUR PROJECTS, GOALS, AND DEADLINES EVERY DAY 📁📅 I like to review my projects every morning and evening. This allows you to assess what projects are still relevant, track the progress of your goals, and see if deadlines can still be met or if they need to be moved. • Let me know in the comments:👇🏽 What was your favorite tip? What are some of your own productivity hacks? • Big love, xoxo Alex 💋 • Big thanks to @loribordephotography for this photo!

#SMMW19 is in the books! SWIPE for more memories… as always, this was one full of memories. I spoke on Friday to an audience of about 700 or so people. They were great, my content flowed well, and I answered questions for an hour after my session ended. This is my happy place and it filled me with so much joy to have this session go this well. I saw friends upon friends, hugged, screamed, and even kissed a few of them 😘 But the joy of being surrounded by your global tribe cannot be described accurately. I saw so many of my “fans” but I hate to call them that because they are wonderful, kind, smart, determined, excited human beings that I am grateful to know and have in my life. If you were at the conference, I hope you are filled with joy and knowledge. There were so many great speakers to see! I know that the sessions I went to, all presented by people I hold as dear friends, were really good. And for all those people I talked to – in any capacity – thank YOU for making my conference experience memorable! #jennstrends #learnfromjenn #jenntourage #buildyourbrand #entrepreneur #mompreneur #motivations #smallbusiness #smallbusinessmarketing #socialmediamarketing #onlinemarketing #instagrammarketing #instagramexpert #instagramforbusiness #instagramtraining #conference #networking #happymemories #untilnextyear

I started on LinkedIn as a laid-off job seeker. I was a month away from my 30th birthday, and something just snapped. Maybe it was the frustration of being at the mercy of the economy, the anxiety of having little control over my career destiny. Maybe it was feeling fed up with being asked intrusive questions to try and collect employment insurance, and feeling deceived by the myth, that those in power perpetuate, that hard work always equals success. Maybe it was just that magical mixture of frustration, exhaustion, and a gentle whisper that life HAD to get better. I started writing on LinkedIn, first as a lifeline, then as a way to provide that same support that saved my life to others that were going through a hard time. From that first post, it’s been a journey of a lifetime. I don’t think I can ever explain the pride and joy of walking into the LinkedIn studios to record my first course on LinkedIn Pages as an official instructor, especially given my start on the platform… …but I hope that my face in these photos says it all. Thank you for helping to make this dream of mine come true. “Grow your Business with LinkedIn Pages” releases in 2020, I’ll share more details when I have them 🤗 Love and coffee, Michaela

I love trying new things & finding creative ways to push people to shift their perspective in ways they never would imagine! After giving the #FyreFestival keynote 19 times I can honestly say this talk might go down as one of my favorites for doing just that! This talk breaks down into 4 main areas: 1️⃣ Experience marketing via Social Media 2️⃣ Cross Generational (Millennial + GenZ) 3️⃣ Video storytelling & documenting 4️⃣ Influencer Marketing This was the first talk I ever gave where it had a “click bate title” and was based on an example or event I wasn’t a part of. This pushed me both as a speaker and as a storyteller to try new things but adapt and learn from each talk. The 1st talk had 41 slides… At one point it had 64 slides and as few as 28… It started with a massive focus on the festival, app and documentaries and evolved into a talk about perspective changing comparing Fyre Festival to Woodstock and focusing on the festival as a failed execution but genius marketing in many ways that we could all learn from! For me I believe we can all learn from studying experiences outside of our industry and for me not only did I get to help audiences see that but it was my own way of learning and growing as a speaker! THANK YOU everyone who came out to my sessions around the USA and saw me give this Fyre Festival talk. Although I’m retiring the full talk I’m already building a fun talk that builds on what I learned here that will push us all even further!

By including the tab ADS we have passed from being a social media tool to a All-In-One tool.
While, other tools are still exclusively focused on social media exclusively, we have decided to give a step forward and provide metrics related to ads in the same platform.
This way, our community will be able to manage both organic and paid parts in the same platforms, avoiding wasted time with logging in and out of the different tools..
If you have read until the end it is because you are probably going to SMMW. We are happy to be sponsors this year and to be able to learn from the best.
If you are coming, drop us a line and let’s meet in San Diego!
