18 June 2024

If you do not know already, LinkedIn has it very own Newsletter creation platform integrated into the app. The LinkedIn newsletter feature allows users to create and share regular newsletters with their audience on the app. Learn all about the new updates they are rolling out here!

What Is the LinkedIn Newsletter Feature?

With this feature, users can subscribe to any newsletter and thus receive notifications automatically when a new article is published.

Indeed, as you are thinking, the operation of this type of newsletter is the same as any other you do from email.

>> A LinkedIn user subscribes to your newsletter because they are interested in the content or topic, each time you upload an article, they will receive a notification <<

If you are interested in continuing to grow on social media with this feature, keep reading and we will tell you how to create a newsletter on LinkedIn.

New Elements to The LinkedIn Newsletter Feature

There have been a few updates made to make the LinkedIn Newsletter better. Here we will explain the updates:

The first update has to do with the display of the feature. As of now, you will see that comments are now located on the right of the main display.

By organizing the comments in a very clear and concise way, could help increase the amount of interaction users get on their newsletters. Users will also have the ability to sort their comments by ‘Most Relevant’ or ‘Most Recent’.

Another update has to do with creation. LinkedIn announced that you will now be able to embed LinkedIn profiles into your text.

You will also be able to use ‘staging links’ which means you will be able to preview how your newsletter will look prior to publishing.

Another update is that LinkedIn is creating an integration with Microsoft AI. This integration will allow users to Microsoft’s AI image generation tools to come up with cover images for your newsletter updates.

And lastly, the last update has to do with sign ups to your newsletter. This update will hopefully drive more subscribers to your newsletter. LinkedIn stated:

Each time you publish a newsletter, subscribers get email and in-app notification of it and anyone following you will be prompted to subscribe if they aren’t already. It’s truly a surefire way to get your knowledge in front of more people.”
