Dark Mode on X
If you have have Twitter, you know you have the option to set your profile on Light or Dark Display. With the new name comes lots of new changes and one of them is taking away one of the display options.
Is it because the dark mode matches the color scheme of the new logo or is there a deeper meaning for this? Let’s find out!
Elon says the reason for this change is simply that he believes that “it is better in every way.” We are just not sure if we agree with this. The dark screen with white writing has been said to be difficult at times to read the small writing.
It is unknown if Apple will allow this change because of the complaints about dark mode in the past. But we all must realize and understand that Elon has made lots of quick changes in the social media world. So if he has a change he wants to make, he tends to make them.
His ex Twitter Employee, Esther Crawford, had some opinions on how Elon runs a business from his prior experience. Crawford quotes:
“Elon has an exceptional talent for tackling hard physics-based problems but products that facilitate human connection and communication require a different type of social-emotional intelligence.”
It is already updated that Elon has already changed his mind on the decision after taking user feedback into consideration. Twitter being the bluebird since 2006 and then suddenly changed to a completely different name and logo was a jumpscare and shocked many users. This newly updated app is very new and will have lots of changes and updates to come so stay tuned!
