Instagram Experiments With a Range of Generative AI Elements
AI experiments have been happening all over social media, and Instagram is no different. We recently saw Meta’s efforts to use AI tools in ad creation, but now they are quickly working on AI tools for all users. These tools will be available on the feed for things like; Instagram Stickers, Visual Editing, AI Chatbot, Message Summary, and labels. Let’s break down each of these new elements!
Instagram Stickers
This new feature will allow users to create custom stickers on Instagram posts and features. All you would have to do is type in whatever prompt and AI will come up with your customized sticker.
Visual Editing
This feature will be Instagram’s first “Brush Tool” where you will be able to remove and add different elements to your photos. You will just have to type in the replacement photo such as a background and AI will upload that and replace the section you ‘Brushed.’
AI Chatbot
If you have the updated Snapchat app, you already know about an AI Chatbot and what it can do. Instagram is also planning to add this element to their app located in the DM section.
Message Summary
This section is for time-saving for those extra busy accounts. If you’re receiving lots and lots of DMs a day, this element will summarize your messages for you so you will not have to read every message.
Labels
It is important to have labels when a piece of content is made using AI. So Instagram is also incorporating more transparency and creating labels to tell the audience it is creating using AI.
There will be lots of changes and updates we will be seeing soon regarding AI. To read more on how you can use AI with Metricool click the button below:
