Set up your TikTok account correctly

Like all social networks, TikTok has an option for companies and for content creators. Therefore, if you want to create an account for your business, I advise you to configure your account as a TikTok Pro account.

A TikTok Pro account is similar to Instagram content creators accounts, that is, it is a type of profile designed for those people who are dedicated to creating content on social networks and for companies that want to use it in a more commercial way.

The main difference between Pro accounts and a normal TikTok account is access to analytics, that is why it is important to switch your account to a Pro account if you want to know more about the performance of your content.

💡 How to convert an account to Pro

To configure your account as a Pro, you have to go to settings in your TikTok profile by pressing the three dots that appear in the upper right corner.

Then, follow these steps:

Manage my Account > Switch to Pro Account

There you choose what type of content creator you are and you are all set.

# 1 Choose your theme well

There is increasing competition on TikTok, so users like unique accounts, with interesting content that is not similar to other types of accounts.

It may seem like with TikTok that there is only room for dances and companies that have a lot of imagination for challenges and fun campaigns, but the truth is that if you know how to make a dent for yourself, you can have great success on this platform.

#2. Create an editorial plan

If you decide to go for it,  you better do it right. That is why it is recommended that you create an editorial calendar with the content that you are going to upload. Plus, keep it updated with new ideas so that you never stop publishing and therefore, your account does not remain abandoned for too long.

Important aspects to take into account within an editorial calendar:

✅ Decide how often to post: so you know how much time you are going to spend on TikTok.

✅ Make a list with content that you are going to upload and set the recording and publication date, it will help you have a more organized calendar.

#3. Create a challenge

Challenges are the most viral content on TikTok and thanks to them the platform has been so successful in such a short time.

If you have ideas and are creative, it is a good idea to create a challenge to try to make it viral and get a lot of visibility.

#4. Use advertising

It is true that the reach on TikTok is very good at the moment, but like all social networks, as the network grows, the audience and the people who register grow. This means that as time goes by, it will be more difficult to have a lot of reach, which is why it is a good option to use TikTok ads.

#5: Use TikTok analytics

By having your account configured as a Pro, you have the option of accessing all the analytics on your profile, community, content, etc.

Take advantage of all the features that TikTok puts at your disposal and analyze your analytics on a recurring basis to optimize your strategy and be able to increasingly improve the type of content and gain more followers.

Click on the three dots again and now click on the statistics option, there you can know everything about your account and publications:
