👋 About Metricool

We built Metricool for what happens after you post

The story and people behind the tool that makes social media feel lighter

Forever free. No limits.

Metricool didn’t start with a pitch.
It started with a blog

In 2014, Laura was writing about motherhood and building a community around what she was learning while raising her daughter.

And at some point, her main question about the blog shifted from “What should I post?” to “Did it actually work?”.

And that’s where everything started.

The answers were technically there; in the likes, clicks, and visits. But the tools built to read those numbers felt made for analysts, not for someone juggling content, life, and everything in between.

So Laura and Juanpa, both software engineers, built something simpler and more useful.

The first version of what is now Metricool: Bloggerespacio.

Over time, more people started using it, the name changed and the product expanded. But the goal stayed the same: make social media easier to understand and easier to manage.

A few moments that shaped us

2014 — Bloggerespacio is born
2015 — We become Metricool
2015 — First paying user
2020 — Fully remote
2022 — First 1M worldwide clients
2024 — We join team.blue

This is what drives us every day (besides the coffee):

Social media work is demanding. There’s always something to post, measure, answer, or improve.

We don’t believe you need more noise.

You need clarity. So we build tools that:

  • Show you what performs best (and why).
  • Map out your content without bouncing between tools.
  • Turn reporting into something you can finish in minutes.
  • Keep everything organized in one place.

The team behind it:

A remote and international team of engineers, designers, support specialists, marketers, operations, sales, that work together so your day runs a little smoother.
