📊 What the data shows
LinkedIn hasn’t slowed down, but the way attention behaves on the platform is evolving.
After analyzing more than 637,000 LinkedIn posts, we observed a pattern that challenges how many strategies are still being built:
- Overall engagement has increased by nearly 14%, largely driven by clicks and other interactions that aren’t immediately visible.
- Personal Profiles are playing a more active role in conversations, generating 63% higher engagement rates and significantly more comments.
- Company Pages continue to be important for reach, with content being shared at a much higher rate.
- Content formats reveal a clear gap: while image and video posts are the most commonly used, formats like carousels, multi-image posts, and polls are consistently delivering stronger results.
Taken together, these findings suggest that attention isn’t disappearing; it’s simply becoming less obvious at a glance.
💬 What the experts are seeing
Alongside the data, our panelists are noticing similar patterns in how content performs and how audiences respond.
There is a growing shift toward content that feels more natural and less produced. Posts that are direct, thoughtful, and sometimes slightly unfinished often resonate more than over-polished pieces.
At the same time, growth is becoming more collaborative. Instead of relying only on individual output, creators and brands are expanding their reach through interaction: engaging in conversations, collaborating with others, and showing up more consistently in shared spaces.
Finally, there’s a stronger emphasis on connection over broadcasting. Content that feels personal tends to build trust, and that trust is what drives meaningful engagement over time.
