Twitter Articles Set to Arrive on the Network
Elon Musk continues to surprise us with new changes and additions to the network. Twitter, or should I say X’s, CEO is working to bring a new feature that will give LinkedIn a run for its money, Twitter Articles.
After implementing a variety of changes such as an extended character limit for Twitter Blue (X Premium) users, adding Live video streaming, private Twitter Circles, and Twitter Subscriptions, we are seeing yet another addition to X.
This feature, which was originally called “notes”, will soon arrive on the network as Twitter Articles.
What are Twitter Articles?
We believe that the release of Twitter Articles is an attempt to provide more long-form content and become an “all-in-one” social media platform. The network also just called a new feature called X Hiring, which would allow Verified Organizations to add job listings to their profiles.
As seen in the tweet from Fausto Chou’s tweet, the previous “Notes” section on X has been renamed to “Articles”. This section can be found under the Creator Studio section.
@Twitter quietly renamed #Notes, which was in the experimental stage, to #Articles earlier in the day!

As of now, the maximum character limit hasn’t been released. However in response to Chou’s tweet, Musk himself implies that a character limit may not exist.
This will allow users to post very long, complex articles with mixed media. You could publish a book if you want.

There are still a lot of unknowns about this feature and its capabilities, however, the goal of Twitter Articles is to offer users another opportunity to create long-form content, instead of posting a long thread of tweets.
