How to Download YouTube Shorts Without a Watermark
While the app makes it simple to download YouTube Shorts directly to your device, this will have a watermark with your account username featured in the video. This isn’t the end of the world, however, videos without watermarks tend to be favored by the algorithms, as they detect the video as native.
You must use an external tool to download YouTube Shorts without a watermark. These tools will all function the same, where you can download your short by pasting the shareable link from your video.
You can grab this link by clicking the “Share” option on the video and copying the link:
Then you will paste this link into the third-party tool to download the video. Here are two tools you can use for free:
Publer
Publer is a free third-party tool allowing you to download your YouTube Shorts via the public link without an account needed. Paste the YouTube short link into the tool and click “Download”.
From here you have two options: Download to your device or post to your social accounts.
SaveTube
SaveTube is another YouTube Shorts downloader that is free to use without an account. This tool works the same way, where you will paste the public link of your YouTube short to download the content.
After clicking “Get Video”, a new window will appear where you can choose your desired video file format.
Click “Get Link” and select “Download” to have the video saved directly to your device.
