Product Updates October 2026

Campaign Dashboards
Set goals and see your collabs clearly
- Set goals for your campaigns: Add up to 3 optional goals (views/impressions, interactions, or paid clicks) when you create a dashboard, edit them while the dashboard is active, and follow your progress with a bar for each one.
- Collab posts, clearly marked: If you have collaboration posts, they appear in the content selector and Top 5 marked “Collab · @username”, so you can tell them apart from your own content. Views and Interactions now also show a breakdown between your own content and Collabs.
- Improved matching for campaign posts: When you describe the posts you want in a dashboard, like a specific campaign or seasonal moment, Metricool now finds them faster and with more accuracy.
Reporting
Collabs in your Instagram report and easier report management
- Collaborations block in your Instagram report: If you have collaboration posts, your report now shows period totals for views, likes, comments, reposts, saves, and shares, plus a ranking table. Include or exclude it in default and custom templates. Collab metrics stay in their own block and don’t add to your Instagram totals. If there are no collaborations in the period, the block doesn’t appear.
- Delete reports: Remove any report from your list, with a confirmation step so nothing disappears by accident.
Flows
Flows now works with the X add-on
- Set up automations for your X account straight from Flows: Reply automatically to any DM you receive. Send an automatic DM when someone replies to your tweet with a keyword you choose. Or repost a tweet after a delay and remove the repost later, so a post gets a second push without you having to remember.
- Flows for X is free to try for a limited time. After that, it will be a paid add-on for the Starter and Advanced plans.
- You need one of these plans and the X add-on to try it.
Planner
More control over how you review and publish
- Rich text and mentions when rejecting a post: Format your notes and tag teammates when you reject a post.
- Mentions aren’t available in the external review portal.
- Add video to your Google Business Profile posts: You can now include a video when creating a Google Business Profile post, along with your caption. This also works when publishing via CSV.
- Find the right teammate faster in the Post Library: The “Assigned” filter now has a search box and only lists people who actually have a post assigned to them.
Brand Settings
More ways to make each brand your own
- A fresh look for Brand Settings: Your brand’s name and image now live together under Brand identity, in a new design.
- Give your brands their own identity: Upload your own image for any brand from its settings and, when creating a new one, add a name and image right away instead of ending up with an empty brand. Both are optional and can be changed at any time in Brand Settings.
- Generate your AI instructions from your own posts: AI Configuration now has a “Generate with AI” button for each social network, plus a “Generate all” option. AI looks at your brand’s past posts and writes custom instructions for that network, so you don’t have to write them from scratch. It runs in the background, and you get a notification in the app when it’s ready.
Other updates
Clearer reviews and more control over connected apps
- Review requests from all your brands in one list: Your For you list now brings together posts from every brand where you’ve been added as a reviewer, with a brand column showing its image and name so you can tell them apart. If you lose reviewer access to a brand, its posts leave your list and come back if access is restored.
- See every app connected to your account: The Integrations screen now lists every third-party application with access to your account. Each one is tagged as Recognized (official partners) or Not verified, which includes anything connected through an AI assistant, and Not verified apps show their source so you can identify them. Remove an app’s access in one click with the “Remove access” button, and browse the connectors you haven’t set up yet from the same screen.
